About Me

My name is Rhea Schmitt, and I started this website to share my travels with others! I’ve been using Facebook since it started so after years of using social media starting a website as a place to organize my travels seemed like a good natural extension of that. I self-taught myself how to build a website when I started my first business, Starry Night Farm. It was quite the learning curve at first, but once I got the hang of it, I was building pages with ease and found myself really enjoying it! After I built my website, I went on to make one for my husband’s business, Blue Eagle Construction. Again, I found myself really enjoying the process of making a website come together for scratch! That is how Sunshine and Beaches Traveler was Born. I thought what the heck I am going to do this for me for fun! That way I will always have a record of my travels. I hope that others will find me and enjoy this, but if not, at least I can say I enjoyed the process of building and creating this all!

With the skills I have gained from starting my own business and helping my husband start his I fueled a dream to help others! I have experience in the hospitality industry not just from my travels, but I have also spent time waitressing in my younger years. I would love to use my business background with my hospitality experiences to help other businesses succeed through my Business Consulting Services! I also have a great knack for psychology and can offer business a lot of great insights for growth and success!

In the meantime I am passionate about traveling and photography/videography and all the interesting people along the way! I will continue to be out and about doing that! Come back for updates!
