Goat Rock Beach is a beautiful beach area with stunning rock formations and great views! When you pull off the highway, there is a road that will take you to two options. One way takes you to the rock formations and the other way to the beach. When parking at the beach area, there is a restroom and multiple picnic tables. Before entering the beach area, there are numerous signs saying no dogs allowed because further down the beach is a protected Harbor Seal area. To keep you seals and your dog safe, do not bring them here! The walk to the shore is a bit long from the parking lot, but it's worth it for the great views!
Overall, it's a great spot to stop and see off the Pacific Coast Highway!
