Pier 101 Restaurant & Bar, East Arctic Avenue, Folly Beach, SC

We stayed the night at Tides next door and were looking for a great local place for super. We chose Pier 101 to be able to enjoy the ocean air and views while we ate. They were absolutely fantastic! I absolutely enjoyed the whole ambiance of the Pier dinning set up they had while taking in the beautiful views, sounds, and smells! It was fabulous! 

At first, look at the menu I was a little disappointed that the offerings seemed limited. However, what they did offer they did amazingly well at! I guess they really know their strengths! We loved everything we tried! We started with the fish bites for an appetizer. The seasoning was perfect, and the dipping sauce was fantastic! Our boys ordered cheese burgers, which they enjoyed. My husband and I like to order our entrées and then share. He ordered the quesadilla. It came with guacamole, sour cream, and salsa - it was very tasty! I ordered their Cajun Shrimp Alfredo! I had never heard of a Cajun Alfredo Sauce, so I was a little skeptical about trying it, but boy, am I glad I did! I would hop on a plane and go back just for that - it was perfection! I can still taste it, and my mouth is watering as I write this! It is definitely a contender for one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had in my life.

Overall, I can't recommend this place enough! It was a fantastic experience, and I would absolutely love to make my way back someday!
