This State Park Boasts abundant waterfalls throughout the park! The are situated at various places in the gorges of the temperance river. This State Park is an absolute must visit for the waterfall lover and adventure enthusiast! There are many rocky cliffs to get your heart beat elevated and your hairs raised! This is not a beginner level park or for the faint of heart. You can still see some incredible views from a safe distance, but for the best views you’ll need to be a bit daring. This is a great place for experienced hikers and families with older kids. Because of the hazards of the step cliffs, rugged terrain, fast river below, I would not recommend this for families with small children unless you have them under constant supervision. Dogs are welcome at State Parks, but the same hazard apply to them as with little kids. Please be cautious of this rugged terrain!
